Summer is finally settling in, and for many, that means holidays are approaching! But summertime usually also means lots of heat and humidity: makeup's worst enemies! This makes it the perfect time to wear eyelash extensions, because after all, who wants to look like a racoon at the pool or at the beach?

GOING ON VACATION WITH EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Will my extensions survive sea water?
Can I swim in the pool even though the water contains chlorine?
Will the sun damage my extensions?

This is what your clients will ask you before going on vacation! But you can reassure them: there is no reason to fear these elements as the real factors leading to premature loss of extensions always remain the same:

The use of oily products
In the Summer, these products are mostly sunscreens, after-sun lotions and
of course, inappropriate facial cleansers!

Natural skin oils
Yes, Summer is hot and our body responds to it with sweat and oilier skin!

Poor maintenance of extensions
THE most important point! You can never say it often enough! Make sure to remind your clients of the proper eyelash extension care to prevent abnormal loss of extensions during their vacation!

MAKE IT A HABIT THIS SUMMER!

Tip # 1
The application of oil-free and non-greasy sunscreen.

Tip # 2
Apply the new Misencil protector every morning on clean lashes to protect eyelash extensions against uncontrollable external factors (sweat, oily residues in swimming pools, pollution, etc.).

Tip # 3
Wash thoroughly eyes and lashes with the Misencil makeup remover using fingers, no cotton swabs or cleansing pads! It is important to emphasize that this step must absolutely be done, even if the client does not wear makeup. This habit is crucial to maintain a good hygiene for both eyes and eyelashes, and therefore, keep the extensions in place!

Tip # 4
Gently brush the lashes every morning to fully unravel after a night spent on a pillow.

Tip # 5
Apply the revitalizer every night before going to bed to properly nourish eyelashes, making them stronger and extend the lifespan of the extensions.

Don't forget to remind your clients to wait 2 hours (HD glue) or 48 hours (Expert glue) prior to putting their extensions in contact with water or touch them.

By following these simple tips, your clients will not get back home from their trip with half of their lashes missing and you won't have to devote your time "repairing the damages"!
